If You Don’t Check For This Computer Virus, You’ll Get Kicked Off The Internet On Monday
A new type of malware might kick 227,000 people off the internet on Monday unless they perform a quick and simple check to make sure they’re safe, reports the AP.
If left unchecked, the virus will prevent users from having any sort of internet connectivity — they’ll have to call their service providers for help deleting the bug and regaining internet access.
Facebook and Google are on the users’ side, however. If someone appears to have an infected computer, the sites will display a warning message that displays “Your computer or network might be infected,” along with a link for more info.
